For workers

Do I have to pay anything? No. Kaam Ase is free for workers, always. If anyone asks you for money to get a job, report it.

Why can’t I see my number on my profile? Your phone number is never shown publicly. Employers reach you through Kaam Ase, and every time someone looks up your number, it’s recorded and you can see who did it from your dashboard.

How do I get vouched for? Go to your profile and add someone who knows you a colony council member, GB, church elder, student union officer, or a past employer. Ask them first before adding their number.

Nobody is calling me. What can I do? Make sure your profile has a photo, a day rate, and a vouch these are what employers look at first. Set yourself “Available now” if you’re free for work.

For employers

Do I have to pay to post a job? No, posting is free. Jobs stay open for three weeks and then close automatically so workers don’t waste time on old listings.

Why does my urgent tag say I can’t use it again? Only one urgent job at a time is allowed, so the tag keeps meaning something. Close your current urgent job first.

A worker didn’t show up. What do I do? Report it this is exactly the kind of pattern we want to know about.

For everyone

How do ratings work? Both sides answer a few yes/no questions about how the job went — nobody sees either side’s answers until both have submitted, so nobody is punished for being honest.

I want to delete my account. Go to your profile edit page and scroll to the bottom there’s a “Delete my account” option there.

Something on the site is broken. Tell us  include what page you were on and what happened.
