The Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) has issued an addendum dated 16 October 2026 to the Combined Staff Recruitment Examination (CSRE) 2026. It lists 24 vacancies for Assistant Sub-Inspector (Post Code 145) under the Director General of Police, Nagaland, at Pay Level 6.
The recruitment includes tribal reservations (one post each for BT Chang, BT Khiamniungan, BT Konyak, BT Sumi of Kiphire, BT Pochury, BT Phom, BT Sangtam, BT Yimkhiung and BT Zeliang), 15 posts for Indigenous Inhabitants, and 33% reservation for women. Educational qualification and age limit are as in the original NSSB CSRE 2026 notification dated 16 September 2026. Upper-age relaxation applies to eligible in-service personnel and writ petitioners covered by the relevant Gauhati High Court judgments.
